An experienced, considerate architectural practice with a passionately developed body of work, needing a website but not so badly
that they would make do with either a low-cost, template approach, or a garish and flashy look. We designed & custom-developed a Content
Management System capable of representing Barb and Ralph Christensen's conscientiousness and keen instincts by giving ample room
to their discursiveness and the value they place on the carefully chosen pieces that make up a whole.
A home page and each case study's opening all begin with a measured grace note, a True North orienting everything that follows. The
photographs and case studies that follow continue with this tone, neither overselling their considerable draw or desperately competing
for your attention.
Page-ends allow you to make your inquiries more...personally, that it might feel more like an entreaty to a person rather than a
resigned submission to a web form, because these are real people – crafts-people – on the other end of the line, a reminder that we thought
ought to be evident in every aspect of the website.
Visit Res Loci's website at www.resloci.com spend even a few moments with the craft and
considerate passions of the Christensen's. It's the kind of work and approach to work that make us feel more strongly about even our own.
